The pace here invites you to linger, to soak in the soft glow of evening light filtering through, and to appreciate the gentle rhythm of a neighborhood well-loved by locals.

Here, the rich aromas of slow-cooked stews and fresh baked goods meet the delicate notes of herbal teas and fruity concoctions, inviting you to explore each bite and sip as a small journey. The subtle hum of carefully prepared dishes arriving at tables speaks to a kitchen that honors the heartiness and soul of Eastern European fare without rushing its craft.

Whether it’s the nostalgic whisper of a bright, tangy soup, or the comforting warmth of a baked delight that dances just right between crisp and tender, every choice invites a quiet moment of discovery. Pairing each plate with a chilled drink or broth seems to stir a resonance of home, no matter where you’re from.
Across bustling weekends and quieter weekdays, this café unfolds as a canvas of genuine encounters and subtle pleasures—where friendships deepen over shared bowls and quiet glances across hand-thrown pottery. It feels alive but never noisy, intimate yet welcoming, offering a glimpse of the old-world kindness that feels increasingly rare. Here, food and place weave together not just to fill a need, but to nourish a fleeting feeling of belonging.

We stumbled across this café by chance and what a discovery it was! Everything we ate was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very low for the quality. What's more, the service is very pleasant. Don't hesitate to come here!

The best slavonian (Eastern European) food I have ever tried in Cyprus by miles! The soup with pickled peppers is ‘the dish to die for! The Napoleon cake is very yummy too. Also, I’d strongly recommend to try the white mulled wine. Yes, I know that it’s a Xmas drink, but for some reason they had it today and I actually enjoyed it.

This lovely cafe serves yummy dishes including Russian salad, Borsh, Kiev cutlets, stews and many more. I enjoyed vegan Borsh and zucchini patties. It must be booked during the weekend as it gets crazily busy. I highly recommend Eda cafe!

What a find! 10/10 for every position. Home made excellent food with friendly service and romantic atmosphere in the square. 2 starters and 2 mains with wine €50, which came as a surprise. Will go back to try all the delicious food on their menu!

Pleasantly surprised to find an authentic, Ukrainian spot in Kouklia. I arrived here this week from NYC to visit relatives and they brought me here for desert. The black current tart and cottage cheese pastry (“sochneek”) were to die for!!

First trip outside of Paphos landed us in this small village Kouklia, all thanks to the reviews we wanted to taste the food ourselves. Warm greeting, incredibly tasty food! Also everything seems to be prepared on the spot even if that means waiting an extra minute. We even had some cat guests to accompany us eating lunch. All in all 43 euros for 2 persons (2 homemade ice teas, 1 appetiser, 2 main dishes and 1 salad) in the peak season. Definitely recommend.
